Description
English: Crewe North Bay Platforms These bay platforms (formerly numbered 2a (on the left) and 1a) were taken out of use in the summer of 1985 when Crewe stations' trackwork was renewed. They used to play home to the Liverpool and North Wales stopping services. The only platform still in use (2013) is the through platform on the left, now numbered platform 12. The electric unit is 303059, originally built for the Glasgow suburban services it was cascaded to Crewe-Liverpool services in the 1970's. It is bound for Liverpool Lime Street.
