Description
English: From 1898 until the formal annexation of Crete to Greece in 1913, the Four Powers (UK, France, Italy, Russia) exercised an international trusteeship over the island and maintained troops in what was known as the Autonomous State of Crete. Poscard with French stamp. Austria, France and Italy maintained their own post offices on the island during that period.
