Description

Crescent and six pointed Star in the old City of Jerusalem, Al Mihbash Restaurant, Nablus road 21. in Arabic this crescent emblem is called hilal. It refers to the new moon at the start and finish of the Ramadan. "The crescent moon began to appear, usually accompanied by a five or six-pointed star, in the first Islamic century as a symbol on coins and decorations". Source:
