Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cremore Presbyterian Church Situated near the crossroads of the Brackagh, Ballyreagh and Crewmore Roads. Note that the spelling of the church is "Cremore" but the road is "Crewmore". The union of the two congregations of Cremore and Tyrone's Ditches became effective from 1 Jan. 1919 under Rev. T. J. Coulter, but the first minister called by the congregations as a united charge was Mr. John McCaughan (lic. Route) who was ordained on 4 June 1943. He resigned when he received a call to Legacurry. After him was Mr. William McAreavey (lic. Belfast) who was ordained on 22 Feb. 1950. He accepted a call to East Park Parish, Glasgow, on 20 Nov. 1956 and he was followed by Mr. Robert Clark McNeill (lic. Ballymena) who was ordained on 6 Aug. 1957. His stay was only for thirteen months when he moved to nearby Clontibret. The congregation then called Mr. David Cyril Scott (lic. Banbridge) and he was ordained on 30 Oct. 1959. The Rev. J. Mattison is now in charge.
