Summary
[edit]DescriptionCreek bank grasses slashed, 7th Brigade Park, Chermside IMGP8658.jpg |
English: Humans have had a major impact on Downfall Creek. Formerly deep waterholes are silted up and natural bank processes constrained by rock walls. Flood mitigation work can strip vegetation from the banks, further increasing siltation and hence exacerbating flooding. |
