Description
English: Crash Site Memorial This memorial is to the crew of the MK5 Whitley bomber N1498 of 19 operational training unit, which crashed close to the summit of Carn a' Choire Mhoir while on an evening training flight from RAF Kinloss on the 6th January 1942. Four members of the crew were killed and three survived the crash.
