Summary
[edit]DescriptionCranes overhead - geograph.org.uk - 578377.jpg |
English: Cranes overhead Hickling Broad is the only place in the UK where the Common Crane can be seen, in fact, the entire breeding population of Great Britain can be found in this area. In order to protect the birds their exact location is being kept secret, but a good location to see them is from the Norfolk Wildlife Trust watchpoint at Stubb Mill. During the past 20 years their numbers have grown from one breeding pair in 1982 to a population of approximately 30 birds. |
