Description

1865 marble bust of Thomas Russell Crampton (1816–1888) by Edward Alexander Olivieri (1826–1904) of London. Crampton was a British engineer from Broadstairs, Kent, England, and he was the designer of the Crampton locomotive. There is more information about the bust here.

Note: this exhibit is in a reflective glass case under spotlights.
