Description
Svenska: Doktor Marita Lindgren-Fridell och konsulent Torsten Philipson beundrar två vackra slöjdsaker: ett graciöst solur i koppar och en glad röd träskål på mässingsben.
Kanske var det en och annan slöjdlärare som förfasade sig en smula över doktor Marita Lindgren-Fridells frifräsarpraoller, då hon på måndagen gick till storms mot gamla ideal inom träslöjden. Hon hävdar nämligen, att slöjden först och främst ska vara estetiskt fostrande, den ska väcka intresse för form och inte lägga så stor vikt på att göra allting så duktigt och hantverksmässigt. Det var på slöjdlärarkongressen i Fredhälls folkskola inför 150 slöjdlärare från Stockholms läns södra inspektionsområde som dr Marita agerade braständare.
