Description
English: A Southern Vectis bus stop at Oakwood (the name of the house the stop is outside), Baring Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight. At the time it served Southern Vectis route 27. This route is now run by Wightbus, under the 32 number (which was used by Southern Vectis for route 27's predecessor). Confusingly, despite Wightbus reverting to the old number, they still run the service over the "new" route 27. Unlike others, this stop hasn't been replaced by any sort of Wightbus signage, although still seems to be served on a hail and ride basis. Despite being on the route of the previous 32, this stop flag was only put up after the 27 was introduced, because the 27 didn't turn left into Crossfield Avenue (unlike the 32), which left a small area unserved by regular buses. Therefore, as it was introduced later, unlike other stops in the area, which have full details, this one only has the name and a route 27 sticker.
