Text Appearing After Image:
The Study of Law Statistics show a larger number of men attending theAmerican Law Schools than any other type of professionalschool, and this in spite of the fact that the profession is calledover-crowded. This class of unusually intelhgent men would not decideupon the law unless there were inducements to join in what isoften the keenest competition. The reasons are plain, howeverto one in touch with industrial, commercial and political Kfeand may be summed up as follows. The law, treating of everyphase of human relationship, fits the student in a most unusualmanner to deal with men and affairs, trains him to think, tothink straight, to think a proposition clear through to the endand then to act in accordance with judgment based on a clean-cut analysis of the facts, pro and con. This habit of analyticalthinking and judicial action is indispensable to the practitionerof law and of equal importance to the business man and thosein political hfe, and accounts in large measure for the mark
