A course in Public Speaking is given each year by ClaytonD. Gilbert, Head of the Dramatic Department of the NewEngland Conservatory of Music, The Congress, consisting of an unusually able body of men,offers opportunities for debate, discussion and extemporaneousspeaking. The Law School is the only evening school of the kindwhich provides the finest advantages along legal lines and atthe same time, the attractive features found in the great uni-versities. The student, therefore, not only obtains a thoroughlegal training, but enjoys these stimulating and refining in-fluences by coming in contact with thousands of congenial,ambitious and high grade men who are pursuing the variousbranches of knowledge offered by the Association school system. Strikingly effective are the opportunities and wholly unlikethose of a small pubhc or private school which offers only theprofessional side of any subject, of necessity omitting the social,physical and recreative features so valuable in preserving a
