Description
English: Vertical cut of a severe thunderstorm at the top with the Vertically Integrated Reflectivity (VIL) at the bottom. The cut is done at showing the amount of rain in the 2156 UTC on August 13, 1996 through the cell with red-purple colors showing 63 kg/m2 of water content which is equivalent to 63 mm of rain if the cloud were to completely rain-out.
Français : Coupe verticale dans un orage en haut et contenu liquide (VIL en anglais) dans celui-ci en bas (la cellule avec les couleurs rouge-violet). Cette derniere contient 63 kg/m2 ce qui est l'équivalent de 63 mm d'accumulation si elle se vidait complètement.
