C'était pour lui faire abandonner cette position verticale qu'il fallait un plus grand effort de tirage, à cause de l'aiguité de l'angle formé par la corde de tirage et la verge; alors on avait recours aux deux grands ressorts de bois tracés sur le plan de Villard et reproduits sur notre vue perspective...
