On pourrait prendre les salles principales de ce château pour des constructions du XIIIe siècle, tandis qu'elles ne furent bâties qu'au XVe siècle. Mais l'Alsace avait conservé, surtout dans l'architecture civile, les anciennes traditions de la bonne époque gothique. Le bâtiment
principal du château de Hoh-Kœnigsbourg, adossé au rocher (130), ne se compose que de contre-forts intérieurs avec mur extérieur fort mince du côté des cours... |
