| Description |
English: County Line (NE) This forest track is fairly typical of many in the area, with forestry taking over where arable land, but especially in this area - coal mining has left such a huge scar on the landscape. Looking northeast crossing the centre of the picture but underneath the track is a small burn, and it is this that delineates North Lanarkshire (where the photographer is standing) and West Lothian, in the mid-distance. |
