| Description |
English: County Hall, Wood Street, Wakefield This building, opened in 1898, was originally the County Hall of the West Riding County Council, and of the West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Council from 1974 to 1986. It was acquired by the City of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council in December 1987 as their main headquarters.
