| Description |
English: County Boundary, Bungay Travelling the A143 from Bury St Edmunds to Gt. Yarmouth, and assuming that one has noticed since the village of Scole, that the boundary from Suffolk to Norfolk has been crossed (TM1478), it may seem strange to the map-unconscious that one is returning into Suffolk: stranger still, that only a few hundred yards further on, beyond the roundabout, that Norfolk is re-entered yet again! (see photo in TM3390). How efficient of our county boundary officers - and yes, you'll see the corresponding opposite signs when travelling in the opposite direction. |
