Sold at Sotheby's New York 25 January 2012 for 842.500 USD. "Saint Jerome" was unrecorded in the literature until 1999, when it was first published as a newly discovered Parmigianino by Marco Di Giampaolo in "Un nuovo 'San Girolamo' del Parmigianino," in Prospettiva, no. 93-93, March - April 1999, pp. 169-172, reproduced (as Parmigianino).
