Description
Svenska: Count Basies framträdande i Konserthuset på tisdagskvällen blev naturligtvis en bländande uppvisning i orkestral och solomässig fantasifullhet, men ändå saknades mycket av det som brukar förknippas med Basiemusik. Ljusglimtarna under kvällen var trumpetaren Snooky Young som spelade ledigt och avspännt, och tenorsaxofonisten Frank Foster samt tenorsaxofonisten Erik Dickson som spelade både kraftfullt och vackert. Count Basie var densamme som vid alla tidigare besök. Lekfull, ledig och avspännd broderar han sina meloditrådar på pianot.
