Description
English: Cottage near the Village Hall, Temple Sowerby This Grade II listed building has been an antique shop, and has a plaque inscribed 'Lothian's Est. 1752 / Manufacturer's Agents'. It was built 17C or earlier, but with alterations c.1800. It is built of lime-washed coursed rubble a plinth. The roof was thatched, then corrugated iron, and now of slates. Two small windows light the attic.
