| Description |
English: Cottage Plot The name of the shaw according to the 1844 tithe map for Westmeston parish. The shaw lies between Streat Lane and the Westmeston-Streat parish boundary and was probably claimed from waste that lay either side of the then King's highway. The path is the one that connects the lane with Upper Streat Green and is quite difficult to find as it is not clearly signposted. |
