Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cotoneaster The start of Offa's Dyke Path in Hay-on-Wye cuts down a track between a few houses. This was escaping over the wall. Cotoneaster belongs to the rose family (Roseaceae) and is a relative of the hawthorns, firethorns, photinias and rowans. The bright red colour and the nibbled/pecked areas indicate that the fruits are mature.
