English: Barmouth - Birkenhead train just east of Corwen. View westward, towards Corwen, Bala Junction, Dolgellau and Barmouth: ex-GWR Ruabon - Dolgellau - Barmouth line. On the section currently (2012) undergoing restoration by the heritage Llangollen Railway, Collett-design 4-6-0 No. 7825 'Lechlade Manor' (built 12/50, withdrawn 5/64) brings the 07.18 from Barmouth away from Corwen in a sylvan Dee Valley setting. |
