Summary
[edit]DescriptionCortinarius luteicolor 198649.jpg |
Cortinarius luteicolor Image location: Yosemite National Park, California, USA This is another gorgeous Phlegmacium in the calochroid clade, “anthraquinone” sub-clade, that I have collected around Yosemite a couple of times before. There is one observation with it on MO already. This species has been collected before in the PNW (GenBank: HM068562, FJ717511, EU057024), but represents a key data point for Yosemite. Recognized by sight: New name for this species.
