Dillard Jr. is docked at the U.S. Coast Guard Noyo River Station after removing a 50-foot, 15-ton hazardous sunken ship, “Jeanne”, stranded across half of the Noyo River federal channel at Noyo Harbor, Calif., Jan. 26, 2013. The crew of the Dillard and district scuba divers raised the ship from a depth of 12 to 15 feet, pumped water from its cargo holds and towed the ship to the Coast Guard Station before transferring control and custody of the ship to the Noyo Harbor District.
