Review from "Melbourne - Caffeine City" blog site: This quaint little corner store is just that, a quaint, little, corner store. Like something out of the 1960’s but with contemporary sensibilities. Behind the (home made) cake strewn counter is a wall full of foodstuffs and kitcheny items the likes of which have not been seen since you looked in your Nanna’s cupboard. All encased in old wooden crates. The visual effect is awesome. They have an extensive breaky and lunch menu and often the best things are as simple as a ham and cheese jaffle. The espresso machine sits proudly atop the busy bench and invites you to taste its wares like a siren singing to a lost sailor. I heard the siren song and went to its rocky shores. Sadly, my long mach was as watery as a siren’s slipper and over extracted. I’m going to give them another shot though. Having worked behind a machine I know that every now and then you bugger it up, despite your skill and best intentions. There is way too much going right here to judge them on one performance.
