English: This street view shows the east side of Second Avenue between Seneca and University Streets in downtown Seattle. The large white building in the center of the frame is the Stone building, commissioned in 1902 by Seattle's third mayor, Corliss P. Stone (1838-1906), and designed by Edwin Walker Houghton (1856-1927), the architect of the Moore Theatre and Hotel. The C. P. Stone building housed the Hotel Berkshire; it is no longer standing. Businesses in image: Tailors; Dokery's, Cloaks, Suits, Furs; Berkshire; Smith Premier Typewriter; Berry Tea and Coffee Co.; The White Butter Store; Gon Wing & Co., Manufacturers of Ladies and Children's Underwear; J.
