Description
English: Copy of birth certificate forged by Cora Pearl. The original certificate is that of her younger sister, Louisa Elizabeth Crouch, born in Plymouth (East Stonehouse) on 23 February 1841. Cora Pearl writes Emma in place of Louisa and changes the year from 1841 to that of 1842. Cora Pearl was born Emma Eliza Crouch in Plymouth, England on 17 December 1836. She was baptized at St. Andrew's Church in Plymouth on 27 December 1837 along with her sister Hannah Lydia Crouch.
