Copper alloy strap end
Description
English: An unidentified object, perhaps a Roman strapend. The object consists of a rectangular section bar of copper alloy. On its upper surface the bar is divided into three squares, with a depression between each. Each square is decorated with an incised diagonally hatched pattern. The lower surface of the bar is plain and slightly concave. The bar ends in a rounded extension which has a circular perforation and an end knob. The object measures 38.47mm in length and a maximum of 7.42mm in width.
