Copper alloy strap end
Description
English: A copper alloy strap end, dating to the Roman period. The strap end is circular in section and expands circumferentially towards its terminal. At the attachment end of the strap end there are two waisted mouldings. The attachment loop extends from these mouldings. It is trapezoidal with a semi-circular perforation. The strap end measures 36mm in length and 12mm in width. It weighs 4.9 grams.
