Title
Copper alloy ring brooch with cast pin.
Description
English: Medieval ring brooch with cast pin, 13-15th century. There is a slight groove for the pin, although this does seem to be a brooch rather than a buckle. There is another area where the ring has worn thin. There is a thick raised transverse line at the head of the pin. The tip of the pin is broken off. The ring is slightly squashed into an oval. Diameter 43.9mm, thickness 3.94mm, lenth of pin (tip missing) 44.66mm, width of pin 4.40mm, weight 15.82g.
