English: A complete copper alloy ring of unknown date.
The ring is oval in plan and circular in cross section. It is plain and has a dark green patina. The ring has a maximum diameter of 23.4mm a minimum diameter of of 21.7mm and is 2.4mm thick. it weighs 1.20 grams. Plain rings such as these cannot usually be closely dated and served various functions such as harness fittings and dress accessory components. |
