Copper alloy buckle
Description
English: A crude copper alloy buckle, probably dating to the medieval period. The buckle is D shaped and rectangular in section. The upper surface of the buckle plate is decorated with triangular notches. The pin is a rectangular section bar looped around the buckle plate. The pin is a rectangular section bar of copper alloy which tapers to a point. The upper surface of the pin has a vertical groove. The buckle has a length of 20mm, a width of 24mm and a thickness of 2mm.
