Title
Copper alloy belt fitting
Description
English: A copper alloy plate, probably a belt fitting. The plate is flat and rectangular. One of its long sides is bevelled. It has a small, circular perforation in each of its corners. One of the perforations is filled with iron corrosion. The upper surface of the flat plate is decorated with stamped circles. A line of stamped circles run along the margins of three of the plate's sides. On the fourth side, there is a marginal groove, interrupted by a a small, semi-circular cut out. There is also a central vertical line of stamped circles which forks out at both ends to form two triangles. On the underside of the plate is a central stamped dot enclosed by two lightly grooved concentric circles. Two similar lightly grooved concentric circles can be seen at one end. The plate measures 37mm in length and 20mm in width.
