Title
Copper alloy beehive thimble dating to the 13/14th centuries
Description
English: Copper alloy beehive thimble dating to the 13/14th centuries.

It is made from a sheet of copper alloy bent over. There are some cracks at the base. The thimble is covered with circular dimples. They are not as neat/symmetrical as usual on this type of thimble. The ones on the dome are laid out in increasing sized circles from the top. The ones on the sides are laid out in vertical lines.

At the base there are 2 incised lines which run the circumference of the thimble
