Copper alloy beehive thimble, late Medieval.
Description
English: Copper alloy thimble, a beehive type, dating to around the 14-16th centuries. The thimble has been bent slightly out of shape but is mainly complete. The thimble has a rounded top. The lower edge is plain and is a little broken. The rest of the exterior surface is covered in small circular punches in a regular pattern.
