Copper alloy Early Medieval brooch
Description
English: An Early Medieval copper alloy gilded openwork brooch. Motif: sinuous zoomorphic interlace in the Urnes style. The head, the body and the tail are recognizable. Remains of gilding on the outter surface. The mount has a semi-circular section. On the reverse, a part of the catchplate and pin lug have been preserved. The pin is missing.
