Copper Alloy Ring
Description
English: A copper alloy finger ring possibly dating from the Roman to the Early Medieval period. The hoop is circular, and consists of a loop of copper alloy. The ring widens and thickens at the shoulders and bezel, measuring 3.8mm in diameter. The hoop is circular is cross section. The ring narrows towards the reverse of the ring, ending in two rounded points which cross over each other slightly, these measure 1.8mm in thickness. There is no decoration, and the ring has a light green patina. The ring measures 22.3mm by 21.2mm, and weighs 3.09g.
