Title
copper-alloy strip
Description
English: This object is likely to be a needle. Although now bent, it is essentially about 7cm long, with a diamond section: there is a point at one end and a hole at the other. Before the mass-production of steel, it is possible that some needles were made of copper alloy: it may alternatively be a bobbin for lace-making, or suchlike. It is probably medieval or post-medieval in date.
