| Description |
English: Cook's Bridge Carrying the A275 over North End Stream. The name derives from the Coke family of Hamsey who farmed here in the 16th century though one story says the forces of Simon de Montfort set up camp nearby and this was the position of the cook's tent that served the army breakfast before the battle of Lewes in 1264. |
