From the 2002-dated pictures on those sites, it seems the control tower has deteriorated again since then, although it was given Grade II listing in 2005, as one of the best of the 82 surviving examples of the 162 control towers of this design originally built: http://tinyurl.com/egzer. One runway and a hangar remain as an airfield today, at the opposite end of the field from here: http://www.ludhamairfield.org/ and 196328 |
