Description
English: 150531-A-BK746-163 COLÓN, PANAMA (May 31, 2015) Army Sgt. Janina Alaniz, a native of North Bergen, N.J., and veterinary technician assigned to Public Health Command District Fort Hood, Texas, and Staff Sgt. Siobhan Chase, a native of Woodbridge, Va., assigned to the Army's 10th Mountain Division Fort Polk, La., prepare a dog for a medical procedure at a veterinary site established at Roberto Mariano Bula Sports Complex during Continuing Promise 2015. Continuing Promise is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian-civil assistance, subject matter expert exchanges, medical, dental, veterinary and engineering support and disaster response to partner nations and to show U.S. support and commitment to Central and South America and the Caribbean.
