Description
English: Continental freight through Rugby It may be thought that rail freight from continental Europe (other than shipping containers) only started with the Channel Tunnel in the 1990s, but in fact there were such services before, using ferry crossings. Here, electric locomotive 85004 hauls a train of miscellaneous French and German wagons northwards through Rugby station.
