English: Contemporary sconce lights illuminate walls and ceilings in corridors where daylight originally served as the principal light source for this 19th-centurypost office. The opaque shades of the sconces reflect light against the walls of the corridor, rather than beaming light down on corridor occupants, subtly maintaining the visual dominance of the skylit atrium the corridors overlook. |
