| Description |
English: Construction work. This very large red machine was moving slowly in northwesterly direction, along the track that runs parallel to the dune ridge > 1016217. Presently some sections of the beach further to the northeast are not accessible because of the building of new sea defences and perhaps this machine is part of this operation. The view was taken across marshland beside the public footpath to the Crinkle Hill Gap.
The footpath starts at Crinkle Hill > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/273964 where The Street in Horsey divides into a private road leading to Fords Farm, and a public footpath, leading through marshland, north to Crinkle Hill Gap and the beach beyond. At Crinkle Hill Gap the path joins a well-maintained track which runs parallel to the dunes in both directions, on the landward side. |
