English: Kennedy Space Center Director Janet Petro addresses Congressional guests inside the Vehicle Assembly Building on July 30, 2021. The visitors came to the Florida spaceport to view NASA’s stacked Space Launch System rocket, which is being prepared for the Artemis I launch. During this mission, Orion will fly farther than any spacecraft built for humans has ever flown. Under Artemis, NASA will land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon and prepare for human missions to Mars. |
