Summary
| Description |
St. Mary of the Rosary, Cong, County Mayo, Ireland English: Stained glass window in the corridor behind the chancel, depicting St. Patrick. Created by Earley Studios, Dublin, in memory of Patrick Diskon (see dedication note in the bottom panel and the signature below it at the right border of the bottom panel: “Earley, Dublin”). Inscription note: “Pray for Patrick Diskon deceased. Presented by his daughters.” Note: Due to the extremely narrow corridor it was impossible to photograph the full window directly from the front. Instead, this was photographed from the right side using an unfortunate angle. The perspective of the photograph was subsequently digitally corrected. The black triangle in the upper right corner remained uncovered in the original photograph. |
