English: Confluence of River Teme and River Severn The River Teme joins the River Severn at the edge of the 1651 Civil War battlefield. The Parliamentary army built a bridge of boats around 100 yards downstream of here on the Severn and 100 yards upstream on the Teme. These played a major role in the outcome of the battle. |
