English: Confidence Bus & Coach bus 11 (reg. GRY 55D), pictured at Hastings station. Behind is 20 (reg. OTO 540M). The company is a private hire outfit based in Leicester, so it's possible that they are here on rail replacement work. No. 11 is a 1966 Metro Cammell bodied Leyland PD3A/1, new to Leicester City Transport (as their No. 55), bought by Confidence in 1980, and sold to Peakbus in 1994, but had been exported to France by 1998. No. 20 is a 1973 East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean, new to Nottingham City transport (as their No. 540), bought by Confidence in 1989, and sold into preservation in 2001. |
